Herb was a great man. He was a key member of Troop 45 in Mineola NY for many many years. When his son was a scout he was an assistant Scoutmaster and went on many camping trips. Later Herb was the sponsoring organization representative for the BSA and The Presbyterian Church in Mineola, NY. God Bless his soul, he will be missed.

An Assistant Scoutmaster that a Scoutmaster could always count on all the time, anytime, every time. HE WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR THE SCOUTS.
Dear Alex, Ron, and Harold I am SO SORRY for your families loss.

I have fond memories of Herb. Troop 45 brought us together. In 1977 we took a group of scouts to the Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico for a ten day backpacking trip. Before that in 1976, we did the Wood Badge Course together in Pennsylvania.. There were many hikes, camping, beach camping and meetings over the years. Great times!
    Rest in Peace old friend.
