Howard “Michael” Johnson, 60, a resident of North Fort Myers, FL for 30 years, formerly of Manassas, VA, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 in Tampa, FL. He was born February 9, 1956 in Richlands, VA to Howard E. and Mary Johnson, now deceased.
Howard was one of a kind, he was the kindest man that you would love to have around in any situation, he could make you laugh, cry and angry all at the same time, but there is nothing that he would not do for anyone. He would love to go to the farm and hunt pigs, go fishing, day or night, four wheeling at Redneck Yacht Club on the weekends. Howard was a lady’s man and loved to shoot pool with everyone and if you did not know how to play he would teach you. He always had some kind of joke to crack in every situation, good or bad. He wouldn’t give up till there was a smile on everyone’s face. All the things this man has been threw and nothing would stop him from doing what he liked and wanted! He was such a hardworking motivated man to the things he needed to get done or wanted done. The love that he had for his family and friends is unexplainable and he will never be forgotten and always in our hearts.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Bethany Angel Johnson of North Fort Myers; four grandchildren, Devin, Mason, Jordon, and Tori; two Sisters, Linda Cox of Fredericksburg, VA and Brenda Counts of Manassas, VA; Nephew, Michael Cox and Nieces, Kelly Smith, Darline Counts and Kim Sherman; as well as one great granddaughter, Amiyah, that he fought so hard to meet. Tami Oliver, best friend to Bethany and a daughter to Howard, his loving girlfriend Debbie Crews, and his two best friends, Shaun Olds and Donald Crews.
