Iva Jean Bartlett

January 21, 1959 - September 28, 2021

Iva Jean Bartlett, 62, a resident of North Fort Myers, FL for the last six years, formerly of Huntsville, AL, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021, in North Fort Myers. She was born January 21, 1959, in Cashier, FL to Jessie Prevatt and Emma Christian, now deceased.

Iva is survived by three loving children, Misty Bartlett and her husband, Alexander of Staatsburg, NY, Paul and Genevieve Prevatt of North Fort Myers, and Kim Bartlett, II of Huntsville, AL; her loving partner, William Clemens of North Fort Myers; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Bartlett, Grayson Robinson, Harper Robinson, and Zaira Prevatt, along with her daughter, Heidi and a sister, Nita Martinez and her four children.

Iva was preceded in death by her beloved husband in 2016, Kim Louis Bartlett; as well as a son, Jonathan Robinson, who is survived by his wife, Amanda Robinson.

Iva was of a non-denominational Christian faith. She was A former employee at Sherwin-Williams but was best known as a homemaker. She was a tremendous cook and loving mother. Some of her friends and family’s best memories are Sunday mornings, where they would gather for biscuits and gravy. One of the most important things to her was her family, in which she took great pride as she always said her greatest accomplishments were her children and marriage. Times weren’t always easy, but she made sure the wants and needs of her family were met. She will also be remembered by others for her generosity. She would frequently find ways to donate to people in need or often forgotten such as nursing homes or animal shelters, especially during the holidays. The one thing she would want her family to know, for those who she may not have spoken to recently, that she loves you. She never stopped, and she never will. “If ever there is a tomorrow when we’re not together, there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you feel, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we are apart, I’ll always be with you” ― Carter Crocker

No formal services are planned, though a small celebration of life will be held. For more information, please contact an immediate family member listed above.
