Jacob G. Modreck

Jacob George Modreck, 33, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for the past five years, formerly of Gainesville, FL, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018 in Cape Coral. Jacob, a native of Ohio, was born August 5, 1985 in Wheeling, West Virginia.

Jacob grew up in Florida to graduate from the Santa Fe Community College in the EMT program and Florida States’ Fire College. Currently, he was employed by B & I Construction where he both enjoyed his work and appreciated coworkers.

Because Jacob loved, he was well loved in return. He is survived by his loving mother, Georgia Garrett and stepfather, Roger, of Monterey, TN; daughter, Mya Tayler Modreck of Fort Lauderdale, FL; brother, Michael Modreck of Fort Lauderdale, FL; girlfriend, Niki Lambert of Cape Coral, FL; maternal grandmother, Virginia Wright of Monterey, Tn. Subject also to his loss are his numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and former wife, Meghan Modreck of Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Jacob who was of the Catholic faith was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Michael Modreck; as well as his brother, Samuel Modreck.
