James Charles Reilly “Jimmy”

June 6, 1965 - August 11, 2020

James Charles Reilly “Jimmy”, died unexpectedly at his home in Cape Coral FL on August 11, 2020 at the age of 55. Jimmy was born on Jun 6, 1965, he was a son of the late Kathryn Hernandez and James Reilly Sr.

Jimmy is survived by the love of his life, Carrie; cherished children, Susan and Christine; his grandchildren, Isabella, Stephen, Sydney, and Ariel who he cherished; his beloved brothers, Guy, Kory, Robert, Charlie, and Michael; as well as his faithful Pitbull, Savannah.

Jimmy lived each and every day for his loved ones always working hard to support his family.

He did not have an easy childhood and his life was extremely hard. In life Jimmy was knocked down many times and always rose to his feet again. The beauty and greatness of Jimmy was he got back up a good person and an even better man!

Every day for Jimmy was a victory!

Jimmy could be a little bearish, thick headed and sharp tonged but gave good and thoughtful advice. Jimmy was the most faithful friend and Goodhearted person you would be fortunate to know.

It was hard to get to know Jimmy but easy to love him once you did. He was generous beyond words even when he had little or nothing, he would help anyone in need. Jimmy had a Great Big Good Heart! The goodness in his heart showed most when he was recusing stray animals or helping people in need. He was also quick to laugh and had a great sense of humor “RA’RA”.

There are no words to accurately describe this wonderful man so many people loved and who I will so dearly miss but I hope what has been written gives the reader a sense of what the world has lost and what Heaven has gained.

It is with a heavy broken heart I share that my wonderful brother Jimmy has passed as he was not just my brother, he was my very best friend and takes part of me with him.

I know we will meet again. His memory will live on in my heart and the hearts of all who loved him forever.

Jimmy, I love you! Rest in peace.
