James Greco

James Greco, 86, a Cape Coral resident for the past ten years, formerly of Lakewood, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015 in Cape Coral. He was born on October 11, 1928 in Belleville, NJ to Joseph and Costanza Greco, now deceased.
James was of the Catholic faith. He served honorably in the US Army from October 1948 – July 1952, with great memories of boxing while in service. He then worked at Lionel Trains Corps in Irvington, NJ before retiring after 25 years from the US Post Office in Lakewood, NJ at the age of 65. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Matilda Greco of Cape Coral; five loving children, Margaret Greene of Beachwood, NJ, Joanna Luizzi (Phillip) of Cape Coral, Janet Burgos (Charlie) of Bayville, NJ, Patricia Greco (Ellen Miller) of Little Egg Harbor, NJ and Lisa Pratt (Kevin) of Cape Coral; three loving siblings, Antonette Conforti of Bricktown, NJ, Frank Greco (Sue) of Barnegat, NJ, and Lucy Bruzzanno of Monroe, NJ; twelve grandchildren, James, Dana, Andrea, Brian, Christopher, Vinnie, Paulie, Joey, Jessica, Vincent, Jenna and Alyssa; eight great grandchildren, Corey, Makayla, Ryan, Daniel, Isaac, Julian, Travis and Sophia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
