Carol, I was so very sorry to hear the sad news about Jim. Please accept my deepest condolences.
Carol and family, You are all in thoughts and prayers. We were so sad to hear of Jims passing.
Pop was possibly the steadiest and most faithful man I’ve known. He was fastidious and organized, yet gentle and kind. He delighted in his family and I’m blessed to be part of that special group. He passed down to me (through my dad, Bill) a love for baseball, legos, boardgames, good food, drink, family and a warm fire; faithfulness to the church and community; and joy at simply being with those you love.
Carol and family,
Don and I are so sad that Jim died and so far from home. We will remember all the many years celebrating New Year’s Eve with the two of you starting with our progressive dinners. He was a great man who served his church and community well.
Jim was a class act If there were more “Jims” in this world what a place this would be
Carol and family,
I am shocked! Wishing that you’re holding up. Ive been a friend on the McLains for ever. Jim lived many years 2 houses away, ridgewood NJ. Not a tribute, but jim could sleep LONGER than anybody I know.
Enough of those details.
Rest In Peace Jim.
Carol, I will keep in touch, promise!
❤️ Paul
So good of you to include me in the Zoom of Jim’s funeral service. It was nicely done. With the exception of family, I have known Jim longer than anyone else – some 78 years. We had many good times together over the years. Sad that he is gone but not in my memory.
