Jerry Dwayne Mintz
Jerry Dwayne Mintz, 39, a lifelong resident of Lee County, FL, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018. He was born April 8, 1979 in Fort Myers, FL.
Jerry was of the Christian faith. He was baptized as a child. He had a huge heart and a sense of humor that would make anyone smile. He deeply loved his family and was deeply loved in return. Jerry was a loyal friend. He adored his baby girl, Alyssa and always wanted to make her proud. Jerry and his sister, Tabitha shared many things and always looked out for one another. Jerry had his ups and downs like everyone else in life, but he always pushed ahead. He gave 100% in everything he did. He took great pride in his work doing cabinetry. He kept his parents on their toes, but always managed to keep them laughing along the way. If Jerry thought you were down, he would do anything to make you laugh. He was fiercely protective of those he loved. You just never knew what was next, he kept life interesting to say the least. Our lives will continue to harbor a great void in his absence, but we know he is waiting for us on the other side. We will continue to celebrate his life and the mark he has left on each of our lives until we meet again.
He is survived by his wife, Staci Mintz of North Fort Myers, FL; loving parents, Deborah Helveston (David) of North Fort Myers and Gary Waller of Lehigh Acres, FL; loving daughter, Alyssa Mintz of North Fort Myers; sister, Tabitha Keller (Jason) of Cape Coral, FL; two nieces, Riley Olinsky and Emrey Keller, both of Cape Coral, and a nephew, Trent Keller of Cape Coral; as well as mother in law and father in law, Caroline and William Stott of North Fort Myers.
