John C. Conway, Jr.

John Cunningham Conway, Jr., 77, a resident of Lee County, FL since 1977, formerly of Pittsburg, PA, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018 in North Fort Myers, FL. He was born April 5, 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA to John and Sarah Conway, now deceased.

“Jack” was a man that lived his life his way. He was happy with whatever it was that he could make for himself. He enjoyed passing the time by tinkering with cars and fishing with friends and family. As life progressed, Jack turned to potted gardens and spending time with his children and grandchildren as much as possible. A serviceman himself, he took pride in the fact that his daughters chose to serve as well.

He is survived by his wife of over 45 years, Regina Conway of Cape Coral; four loving children, Kimberly Conway of Pittsburgh, PA, Debra Conway of Pittsburgh, PA, Jeffrey Conway (Layla) of North Fort Myers, and John Conway, III (Thea) of Cape Coral; sister, Jeanne Geyer of Plantation, FL; five grandchildren, Shelia, Greg, Zoe, Wynslett, and Fitzhenry; two great grandchildren, Madeline and Nathan; as well as several nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by a sister, Mae Moran.
