
John Joseph Falcone
John Joseph Falcone, 58, a long-time resident of Pine Island, formerly of Sea Isles City, NJ, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2019 in St. James City. He was born May 27, 1961 in King of Prussia, PA to John and Carol Falcone, now deceased.
John was a member of St. James Baptist Church. He was a beloved commercial crabber and fisherman on the Island. He enjoyed passing time by traveling to Exuma with his wife, taking fishing trips with his buddies, and spoiling his grandchildren. His family was very important to him and he enjoyed having them over for dinner and firing up the grill. John was a member of the Pine Island Moose and enjoyed having lunch there with close friends. He also enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Eagles play on Sunday’s.
He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Donna Falcone, of St. James City; two children, Lindsey Jones (Jesse) of Cape Coral and Robert “BJ” Busscher and fiancé, Melinda Paris also of Cape Coral; one brother, David Falcone of NJ; four grandchildren, Cheyenne, Joshua, Makayla and Alina; as well as his beloved dog, Gator.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 9, 2019 at First Baptist Church of St. James City, 3417 Eighth Ave, St. James City, FL 33956 with Pastor Larry Jinks officiating.

John was such a nice guy. Plus I know how happy he made Donna and the kids. He will sincerely be missed🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

John was a man with a big heart and even bigger smile. He was always there to lend a hand, never saying no. His passing has left a huge hole in the hearts of loved ones and friends. He was truly a GOOD MAN and will be missed terribly.

We knew John as a great fishermen and crabber. Always loved watching the gator follow him into the canal where John srored his pots. That gator never gave up just in chance some small morsel would be toss overboard by John. John was a fixture on the island and will truly be missed by all. 20 plus years.. Such a happy and gentle man..always had good things to say…the crabbing family has lost a wonderful person..thoughts and prayers to the family..

We met John shortly after we moved to SJC about 18 years ago on his way to and from work. Always with a wave and a happy smile in his crab boat, we eventually became close friends with John and his family.
John Falcone was a special friend to many and his kind heart touched anyone he met.
