John M. Cahoy

John Millard Cahoy, 78, a resident of Lee County for the past 20 years, formerly of Pine Island, FL and Atlanta, GA, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019 in Cape Coral, FL. He was born March 5, 1941 in Bloomfield, NE to Andrew and Natelle Cahoy, now deceased.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Marian Cahoy of Cape Coral; one brother, Richard Cahoy (Barbara) of Vero Beach, FL; nieces, Whitney Bennett (Michael) of Houston, Cheryl Cahoy of New York City, and Scott Cahoy of Laguna Beach, CA; as well as his beloved dog, Leroy Brown. Marian receives the love and support of her sister Martha Franklin (Steve) of Manteno, IL; brother Bill (Joy) of Saginaw, MI; brother Bob (Nan) Evans of Grand Rapids, MI; and their families.

Memorial Services will be held 1:00 pm. Monday, June 17, 2019 in the chapel of Hope Hospice, 2430 Diplomat Parkway East, Cape Coral, FL 33909 with Bob Evans, John’s brother-in-law, officiating. Burial at sea will take place late in this summer.
