John Michael Hendricks

May 24, 1946 - August 6, 2021

John Michael Hendricks, 75, passed August 6, 2021, following a determined effort to overcome the blood disorder that ended his life so prematurely. He was born May 24, 1946 in Ansted, WV.

John took pride in his work and enjoyed the results of his labors. Retirement brought him joy, and time with friends both furry and human. His humor and friendship will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife, Terri (Peter) Hendricks; in-laws, Dolores Peter, Anna Hingson (Robert), Carol Glanville (Brian), Wallace Peter (Marie), and Renee Peter (Gary Uhlar); as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his mother, Elsie Hendricks; siblings, Ann Tarlton, William Hendricks, Robert Hendrick, and Virginia Hendricks; father-in-law, William Peter; as well as brother-in-law, William Peter, Jr. 

A Celebration of Life will be held when the firepit can be enjoyed by his friends and family on his behalf. Details to be announced via www.MullinsMemorial.com.

    I’m heartbroken but we all knew this time was coming have spent many nights days an afternoon with the both of these two beautiful human beings I love them both so much yes we all go through our own trials in life but we can meet right back up after a few months and never missed a beat. Terri you are one of the strongest women I’ve met blessed that he had you back at cha because you know that was my friend. But you know I’m blessed to be able to be apart of his celebration of life cause he was the bomb 💣

    January 2020… celebrating our 40th, 39th, or 25th wedding anniversary… as stated at our celebration, because we had our wedding blessed by the Episcopal church on our 1st anniversary, and by the Catholic church on our 15th anniversary.

    I had the pleasure of meeting John at my place of employment and he touched my heart in so many ways,I have not known him long but feel as though I’ve known him a lifetime because that’s the love and kindness he showed me he will forever be on my heart till we one day meet again my dear friend love laurie

    John, my longtime friend, Vietnam Vet. and top notch hvac tradesman.
    No one better at what you did. I think about you often and I guess we will have to
    continue the “mutual admiration society” when we meet again. You will be missed.
