It was a pleasure to know JR who I first met while in high school. I had bought a stereo at Ames and apparently had dropped the receipt outside. Later that day, JR who found it was kind enough to drop it off at our home on Upper Mtn Rd. Of course, I delivered mail for years on Priscilla Ln and once rec’d fine DJ services at a wedding reception in addition to many fine conversations. My extended prayers to Nancy and your family members. Rest in peace, JR!

What a shock to hear of this! I worked with John at the Lee County Sheriff’s Office for several years and he was always such a positive man. He always had a smile to give and he had a caring spirit. He was also excellent at his job and was always there. The world is a lesser place for his absence.
