Joseph C. Cobb
Joseph Charles Cobb, 67, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 2007, formerly of Flemington, NJ passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in Cape Coral. He was born December 28, 1948 in St. Joseph, MO to Eugene and Geraldine Cobb, now deceased.
Joseph was a larger than life man, who touched countless lives; a husband, a father, a mentor, a friend. His love and dedication to his family and numerous organizations/charities aided in his quest to make the world a better place; The Knights of Columbus, Better Homes & Taverns, The Moose, The Elks, Ancient Order of Hibernians, The CC Irish American Club, The CC New Residents Club, The CC Police Volunteer Unit. Joseph was a devote Catholic and a member of St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church. He had an amazing career with Mead Paper Products, where he mentored innumerable associates and assisted in shaping the lives and careers of so many.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Deanna Cobb of Cape Coral; two grateful and loving children, Brendan Cobb (Shari) of Pembroke Pines, FL and Erin McPherson (Matthew) of Flemington, NJ; as well as four loving grandchildren, Megan and Aidan Cobb and Meara and Matthew McPherson, Jr.
A Memorial Mass will be held 1:30pm Saturday, August 13, 2016 at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 1922 SW 20th Ave., Cape Coral, FL 33991 with Father Piotr officiating. A celebration of life will follow at the Elks Lodge, 4631 SE 10th Place, Cape Coral, FL 33904.
