Juana D. Hidalgo
Juana D. Hidalgo, 82, a resident of Lee County, FL for the past 7 years, formerly of Elizabeth, NJ, passed away Friday, July 1, 2022. She was born March 8, 1940 in El Salvador to Cosme and Pilar Villeda, now deceased.
Juana was of the Seventh Day Adventist faith. She was a fearless woman who remained faithful to God until the very end. She had a heart of gold filled with pure love, kindness, and humbleness. She touched many lives, leaving us with great memories. Filled with joy and laughter. A strong woman who devoted her entire life. Putting others before herself. She will never be forgotten. Her legacy will live on and she will remain in our hearts for eternity.
She is survived by her husband, Carlos de Jesus Hidalgo; children, Enrique Hidalgo (Marlene de Hidalgo) of El Salvador, Ana Avendano (Javier) of Cape Coral, FL, and Hector Hidalgo of Hallandale Beach, FL; siblings, Lucila Chicas of El Salvador, Maria Esther Villeda of Massachusetts, Lino Villeda of El Salvador, and Victor Villeda of El Salvador; grandchildren, Vanessa, Bryan, Cindy, Jessica, and Shirlie; as well as great grandchild, Madeline.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 8, 2022 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33916 with Pastor Hector Rodriguez to officiate. Burial to follow at Fort Myers City Cemetery, 3200 Michigan Avenue, Fort Myers, FL 33916. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 07, 2022 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33916.
