Julia O. Ojeda
Julia Onilda Ojeda, 85, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 2012, formerly of Cuba, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019 in Fort Myers, FL. She was born April 12, 1934 in Havana, Cuba to Julian and Julia Ojeda, now deceased.
Julia was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Cape Coral. She was a very good example of a strong and fighter woman, whom, despite not having a high level of education, had a great intuition and capability to look ahead and give wise advise, which helped her live a long and happy life, surrounded by her 4 children and 4 grandchildren, whom dearly loved her and demonstrated their deepest appreciation for being the wonderful mother that she was. And that way we want to remember her, as the beautiful, wonderful, loved, admired, respected person that she was, by her children, family members and everyone that knew her.
She is survived by four loving children, Hernan Hernandez (Alba) of Cuba, Martin Hernandez (Orquida) of Cuba, Luis Pena (Maydeline) of Cape Coral, and Saily Pena (Alberto) of Cape Coral; ten loving siblings; four grandchildren, Yadira Hernandez, Hernan Hernandez, Yorlan Espinosa, and Luis Pena, Jr.; as well as one great grandchild on the way.
A Memorial Mass will be held 12:30 PM on Friday, April 26, 2019 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Blvd. S., Cape Coral, FL 33904 with Father Eduardo officiating.
Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.
