Karen J. Basansky

Karen Joan Basansky, 56, a resident of Cape Coral, FL. for the past 30 years, formally of Broken Arrow, OK. passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019 in Naples, FL. She was born June 19, 1962 in Los Angeles, CA to Kermit and Ruby Sloan, now deceased.

Karen was a member of Life Church in Fort Myers. She was a loving thoughtful caregiver in her field of home health, and just as much a loving mother, sister and wife.

She is survived by her beloved husband of over 33 years, Eric Basansky of Cape Coral; three loving children, Christopher Zahedi of CA, Nina Lindsay Johnson (Michael William) of Fort Myers, FL, and Austin Conner Basansky of Cape Coral; a sibling, Tracy Hammock; as well as a grandson, Conner Reese Johnson.

Memorial services will be held11:00 AM on Saturday, June 1, 2019at Life Church,11735 Plantation Rd., Fort Myers, FLwith Pastor Ryan Deaton officiating.
