Kathleen Joyce Lauer

Kathleen Joyce Lauer, 69, of Cape Coral, formerly of Saginaw, MI, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2014 in Cape Coral. She was born December 27, 1944 in Bay City, MI to Russell and Edna Kuhn, now deceased.

Kathleen was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. One of her many accomplishments was raising a loving family and striving to make sure her family was taken care of. She always had an open ear and an open shoulder for her family and friends. Gerald and Kathleen owned a successful construction company for many years located in Cape Coral. Kathleen and Gerald enjoyed traveling and visiting their family and friends all around America during the fall time. Kathleen was a very strong woman and was admired by all. She will always hold a special place in all of our hearts and will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Gerald L. Lauer of Cape Coral; three children, Timothy G. Lauer (Katherine Cupo) of Greensboro, NC, Brian L. Lauer (Diana) of Marysville, TN and Pamela Lauer (Shaun Vasbinder) of Cape Coral; one sister, Marian Jean Houk (Gerald) of Littleton, CO; as well as six grandchildren, Timothy Jr., Jonathan, Joseph, Marcian, Megan and Mackenzie.
