My sister Kitty was the best sister and best friend anyone could have. She was always there for me no matter what dumb thing i was up to in my misspent youth. She was a friend to all and she and Robert were the favorite aunt and uncle to the family children. She always had time for anyone who needed it. I will miss her forever.

Because of being at long distance, the “Indiana Groppes” had very limited opportunities to spend time with Aunt Kitty and Uncle Robert — but the time we did have was precious. We treasure our memories of our visits with them so full of warmth, humor and laughter, and kindness Their profound love for Robert Patrick, Danny, Debbie, Megan, and Devon was always so evident.

Sincere sympathy to our Groppe and Duggan cousins on Kitty’s recent death. We have lovely memories of her and Robert Jnr in Kerry in the 60’s and later when Kitty and Robert visited us here in Dublin. Rest in Peace Kitty.

Sincere sympathy to Danny, Robert, his family, extended Groppe and Duggan families on Kitty’s recent death RIP.

Kitty and Robert looked after us so lovingly when we visited them in Cape Coral. Each time we met them over the years, here in Cork or in USA, their warmth, humour and sense of fun was always to the fore.

Thanks for the memories, Kitty. May you rest in peace, re-united with your beloved Robert.

We are so sorry to hear of Kitty’s passing. She was such a beautiful person and we loved spending time with her here in Ireland over the years and on our visits to the States. I will never forget and am so grateful to her and Robert for all the places they took me, on my first visit to NY in the 1960’s.
