Kenneth/Buddy left behind 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Patty Denmark Joey and Stevie Lopez and Dee Dee Crooks. Nieces and their children. 2 stepsons and 2 grandsons Dean and Garrett Hutto. Myself, x-wife and mate for the last 8 years Angela Hutto. Those are just immediate family feeling the loss. Not to mention countless others that he touched. He loved America RocknRoll and triva. Drove me nuts with facts and he knew it. I miss him coming to me with his hands in the air or on his hips (depending on importance) “did you know?” “I have to tell u” or “I can’t believe”. It never mattered where or what I was doing. Not even what time it was. I know everyone will have a different story and I look forward to reading them as I am sure his family will too. Thank God I had him in my life if only for a moment the good the bad all balanced out. Papa will be missed and always loved thank you baby

So sorry to hear this. We all played together in Drew Park as children and then reconnected later on Facebook. It seemed he never changed from that crazy kid 😀. Sincerely sorry for his family. RIP Buddy.

So sorry to hear about Buddy. I’ll never forget the first time I met him, sitting along side the beach at a village “fish” right after the 2 of you reunited. Two faces beaming brighter then the Florida sunshine. Rest in Peace Buddy ❤❤❤❤

I remember when my husband Al and I went to Georgia to see Angie and Buddy. Al and Buddy talked about all the hobbies they had in common, such as model cars and music. Buddy was so kind and thoughtful. I’m going to miss how he would say “hello beautiful lady” when Angie and I talked on the phone or via video chat. He was a true gentleman and very respectful to us ladies, Angie’s Friends, Gina (Trisha RIP) and I, only to name a few, also Margie, Candace, his sisters and nieces. I know he Loved All his family. I remember he took a picture of Angie and I, and being OCD, we had to stand just so, so the picture would be perfectly centered. And it is perfect, he even picked out the perfect matte with Rose’s on it for his Angela “Rose”. Buddy was so in love with Angie and she with Buddy. I was thrilled to hear they had reunited 8 years ago and nothing or no one could tear them apart. We’re going to miss Kenneth (Buddy) Lopez. Until we meet again. “The hour is coming when all those in the Memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life. “- Matthew 5:28,29

So sad to hear of Buddy’s passing. Many good memories hanging together in H.S. and a little beyond. Actually, I got my first car from Buddy via a trade of my motor bike and $50 for a 55 chevy and a 56 ford. I only had enough money to tow the chevy to my house and get it fixed (ofcourse, he wanted to buy it back once running again…NOT!), His Dad got tired of seeing the ford in the yard and had it towed to the junk yard. As I said good memories; my condolences to his family.

My memories of Kenneth Lopez: I met you when I was approximately 13 years old and only because you were in love with my dear sister, Angela. She moved to Tampa to be with you. When I came to visit, and quite honestly, I have no idea how I even got to Tampa, you were so kind. Angela, Sissy, had taught me how to drive at the age of 12. You taught me how to drive in the big city. You said, turn left, and I immediately made a sharp left. One lane at a time, little girl, you shouted. You took me to a record store to meet a band. They had to leave for the concert before we got to meet them. I was just leaving private school, where rock and roll, we were told, was a sin. You taught me different. I thank you for putting up with all of us and even for calling me on March 1st, the day after my husband’s accident, to bitch me out for making you stay up all night worrying. I’m so thankful I/we had you in our lives. Even my 10-year-old son, when he heard of your passing, said, I’m so sorry. I really loved him. RIP, my sweet friend/brother. Please watch over us all.
