Kenneth Edward Fisher, 72, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 2004, formerly of Collegeville, PA, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020 in Cape Coral. He was born March 10, 1948 in Pottstown, PA to Paul and Sara Fisher, now deceased.
Kenneth was a member of the Providence Church of the Brethren in Royersford, PA. He attended Juniata College and the York College of Pennsylvania in association with St. Joseph’s Hospital, Lancaster for Respiratory Therapy. He was a Respiratory Therapist for 48 years, most recently at Bayfront Health in Port Charlotte, FL. This was a job he loved, only just retiring on February 14, 2020. Ken loved animals, especially his four dogs. He enjoyed doing handyman jobs. Ken also enjoyed people and will be remembered by his contagious laugh.
He is survived by two loving children, Lori Vidal (Carlos) of Hanover, PA, and Steven Fisher (Stacey) also of Hanover, PA; sister, Sandra E. Little (John) of Fort Myers, FL; five grandchildren, Enrique, Javier, Bryceton, Jocelyn, and Landon; as well as three nieces, Kristin, Katherine, and Mary.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 39 years, Nancy Sandilands Fisher on June 27, 2020.
Private family services will be held.
