Kenneth John Kreutzer

May 2, 1945 - July 6, 2021

Kenneth John Kreutzer, 76, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 2007, formerly of Hazlet, NJ, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021 in Fort Myers, FL. He was born May 2, 1945 in Jersey City, NJ to John and Katherine Kreutzer, now deceased.

Kenneth was of the Lutheran faith and served in the United States Marines. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.  After returning from his service, he became a police officer in Union City, New Jersey, retiring as a sergeant after 25 years.  Kenneth enjoyed playing golf, cooking and had fond memories of fishing with his friends.  He always had a soft spot for his animals and would do anything for them.  

He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Irene Kreutzer of Cape Coral; three loving children, Lance Kreutzer (Lori) of Forked River, NJ, Stephanie Gallo (Peter) of Hazlet, NJ, and Petty Officer First Class Kenneth Kreutzer of Virginia Beach, VA; five siblings, Linda Quinn (Richie) of NJ, Dewitt Kreutzer (Dale) of Ocala, FL, Eddie Kreutzer (Camille) of Point Pleasant, NJ, Gail Thompson (Bobby) of Ocala, FL, and Neil Kreutzer (Lori) of Toms River, NJ; sisters in law, Nina Forsdahl (Charlie) of Sanford, NC, Ginny Kreutzer of Hazlet, NJ, and Frances Kreutzer of Union City, NJ; grandchildren, Lance, Andrew, Nicholas, and Katherine; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Kenneth was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Kreutzer and Roy Kreutzer.

Funeral Services with Military Honors will be held 4:30 PM Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33916 with Pastor Dennis Gingerich officiating. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 2:30 PM until the time of service.

Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.
