Lora Lee Dunkle

September 7, 1962 - August 7, 2021

Lora Lee Dunkle, 58, a resident of North Fort Myers, Fl passed away Saturday August 7, 2021.  She was born September 7, 1962 in Sinton, TX to the late Howard “Jackie” and Louise Helveston.

Lora was of the Christian faith and was a member of The Church of God of Prophecy in Fort Myers. She was very involved with her church doing different jobs within over the years, even doing missionary work in the Philippines.  Lora loved to travel and was always drawn to the Mountains where she had hoped to move. Lora also loved to help who ever she could from serving dinners to homeless on thanksgiving, collecting and delivering food to her family and neighbors, or simply just being there to listen and give a shoulder to cry on. Her faith in God was strong, she would let his light shine through her and was a walking testimony of his mercy and grace.

Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.  Mark 11: 22 -24

She is survived by her loving daughter Kristin Dunkle (Joshua Miller) of Lehigh Acres; four siblings, Ethel Travis (Danny) of Fort Myers Shores, Fl, Lorinda Rogers (Danny) of Live Oak, Fl, Liz Kirkland (Jeff) of Fort Myers, Fl, and David Helveston of North Fort Myers, Fl; as well as five grandchildren, Kaleb Krohn, Koltin Dunkle, Joleena Spainhoward, Christian Daniels, and Jaxson Dunkle. And is proceeded in death by two brothers, Darrell and Felix Helveston,  a sister, Jackaline Helveston, Nephew, Joshua Odom, and grandson Jiraiya Marin.
