Manuel Alberto Saavedra

Manuel Alberto Saavedra, 58, a Lee County resident for the past two years, formerly of Newburgh, New York passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 in Cape Coral, Florida. He was born April 29, 1957 in Buenes Aires, Argentina.

Manuel was of the Catholic faith. He was a successful business owner in electronic repair service. He was a loving, caring son, brother, father, and grandfather who will always be remembered for his humorous, outgoing personality.

He is survived by his loving mother, Lina Saavedra of New Windsor, NY; two loving children, Chris Saavedra (Erika) of Cape Coral, and Kyle Saavedra also of Cape Coral; brother, John Saavedra (Deysi) of Bronx, NY; sister, Monica Saavedra of New Windsor, NY; two grandchildren, Noelle and Christopher, Jr.; as well as a nephew, Brendan and a niece, Caitlin.

Manuel was preceded in death by his father, John Saavedra, and a son, Manuel John Saavedra.

Funeral Services will be held 7:00 PM Friday, October 2, 2015 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Ft. Myers FL 33916 with Father Patrick Boyhan officiating. A Visitation will take place from 5:00 PM until the time of service.
