Margaret B. Morgan
Margaret Behlen “Bee” Morgan, 94, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for the past 6 years, formerly of Melbourne, FL, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018 in Cape Coral. She was born November 29, 1923 in Pittsburgh, PA to Robert and Iola Behlen, now deceased.
Margaret was of the Lutheran faith. She graduated from Radnor High School in Wayne, Pennsylvania, received her bachelor’s degree in administration from Lake Forest College, Lake Forest, Illinois and her teaching certification from Shelton College in Cape May, New Jersey. Her passions included social work, teacher of reading, volunteering for Salvation Army and most of all a homemaker. Her life was filled with unlimited joyous moments taking her grandchildren on adventures. Her passion and love for animals was proven by how many animals she had throughout her life. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met with her contagious smile, kind words, generosity, friendships and her eternal love for the blue skies, water, beach, sea shells, sailing, mountains, wildflowers, the birds and the bees.
She is survived by 6 loving children, Diane Tomlin of Dennisville, NJ; Richard Morgan (Rita) of Oak Hill, FL; Susan Morgan of Spruce Pine, NC; Evelyn Morgan of Punta Gorda, FL; Joanne Prahl (Kevin) of Laramie, WY; and John Morgan (Carla) of Cape Coral, FL; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; as well as a large and loving extended family.
Proceeding in death: Husband, Richard H. Morgan; Brother, Robert Behlen; Son in law, Robert Tomlin; Grand Daughter, April Morgan.
As per Margaret’s request cremation has taken place and her ashes will be dispersed per her wishes. No formal services are planned at this time.
Memorial Contributions in memory of “Bee” Morgan are suggested to Salvation Army, an Animal Rescue Group of your choice or plant a tree, pick a flower, catch a fish, take a sail, whatever refreshes your fond memories.
