We will miss Midge. She was blessed with many talents, was a hard worker & had an ability to talk with anyone. & make them feel welcome. She was always a gracious host & willing to help where needed. She & Larry became part of our family when our daughter, Linda, married their son , Michael, but they were friends long before that. Rest In Peace in the arms of God.

We are so deeply saddened to learn that Midge has died. Our entire family has shared a friendship and connection with her families for decades. We remember as a young girl she was an avid Girl Scout, a Cheerleader, and a budding artist. We also remember her as Larry’s High School Sweetheart.
Midge was always kind and energetic and curious about all things in life.
She loved sharing her artistic ideas, and details about her home and garden and family.
Our hearts go out to everyone who will continue to be touched by this loss.
    Most Sincerely,
Roberta and Doug and the Rizzardi family

I am so sad for all of you–Midge’s family and dear friends. She and I met almost 13 years ago at an art workshop in Traverse City, MI and had the chance to reunite when she joined Art Quilters Unlimited in FL. She was so full of life with such a caring and giving personality. She will be missed by all.

In the five years I’ve known Midge through Art Quilters, I have enjoyed every moment with her. She was the life of the party, the eternal optimist, and the kindest of friends; and I know that you all must be missing her terribly. Remember her light and the love she had for all of you. My sincerest condolences.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. I knew Midge through the Art Quilters group and then later when she moved to Cape Coral we sometimes played Mahjongg. She was a wonderful, giving person who will be sorely missed. She spoke so often of her kids and grandkids…know that you all brought her a great deal of joy.

I was shocked to hear about Midge. She was an important part of our creative group: Art Quilters Unlimited. I had many wonderful talks with her on our sewing retreats and at workshops. At one of our meetings in 2019 Midge presented a great demo on one of her favorite techniques, discharge fabric dyeing.
I will remember her as sparkling and always enthusiastic. Her positivity was contagious. Such a loss for all of us.
