I thought this was beautiful and something to ponder on…..
    from ‘Lessons taught by Life’

You can shed tears because they are gone, or you can smile because they lived.
You can close your eyes a d pray they will come back, or you can open your eyes and see all they have left for you. Your heart can be empty because you can’t see them, or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can rember only that they are gone, or you can cherish their memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind and fell empty, or you can do what they would want. Smile, open your heart, love and go on.

I am just heartbroken to hear of Marions passing. She and Duane have been wonderful friends of mine for over thirty years and have supported my music career and outreach to seniors in America since early on. Marion was a loving and gentle soul who loved her family and friends and her God to the fullest. I will be forever grateful for how she touched my life and the warm and wonderful memories i have of those years, and of Marion, will live in my heart forever and bring many a smile on a cold winter night. God bless you dear friend and may the peace of the living God be with you forever and those you leave behind!

Mama you were my everything, I would not be the woman I am without you. You taught me to be kind and classy and true. You were there through my ups and downs, as I was for yours. You were always there for me. Family was everything with support and unconditional love. You will always be in my heart and memories forever. I love you forever and always. 💕

What a blessing Marion has been to our family. There is no doubt that Marion has been the love and joy of my brother’s life.
She has been kind and loving to our family and we have enjoyed her for 50+ years.
I have been able to spend traveling days, park life and personal time with Marion over the last several years. These are wonderful memories to be cherished forever .

Please know that my heart goes out to you Michelle, the boys and your father on the passing of an amazing human being. Your mother has the warmth and tenderness of an angel. Her kindness was amazing and you rarely see that theses days. I still remember all them times she would run with open arms to hold my son Niko. She would care for him like he was her own. I will always cherish that. Here is a little video I made of her:

Remembering Marion is remembering her smile, her laugh and that “twinkle” she got in her eyes every time Duane told “tall tales” or pulled a prank on someone. I can still hear her saying “Oh, Duane” and then laughing. She so enjoyed life, loved so deeply, Such a beautiful lady, inside and out. We love you Marion, now & forever.

Marion, you brought us light when it was dark. You shine so brightly.
You brought us warmth from the cold. Smiles and laughter when we wanted to frown.
Marion you spread love where ever you go. The angels will sing of your love.
Most of all you showed us true faith. The power of faith. You showed us Jesus Christ lives in all of us. An example for us all to open our hearts and follow.
We will miss you Marion but we know you are there. All we have to do is touch our hearts and think of you.
We didn’t know, all the time you were alive, that we were hugging an real angel sent by Jesus Christ.
