Mark A. Treschak

November 30, 1966 - April 1, 2021

Mark A. Treschak, 54, of Fort Myers Beach, FL died Thursday, April 1, 2021 at his home. 

Beloved son of Beatrice (Plichta) Treschak, (Deceased) and Melvin D Treschak and Step son of (Giovanna) “Joan” Treschak.  Mark was brother to Karen (Gyorgy) Karpati, Craig Treschak and Cheryl (Scott) Davis all of Streator.  Mark also leaves behind his Fiance’, Kimberly Hogue, Streator and step brothers and sister, Michael (Kate) Murphy, Chicago, Thomas (Shaun) Murphy, St. Charles, Martin (Mary) Murphy, St. Charles and Siobhan (Kevin) Elias, Streator. His nephews, Alex Karpati, Bryan Davis, Brad Davis, Brett Davis and Michael Buchanan, Nieces, Melanie Baron, Natalie Lanoue and Stephanie Treschak and six grand nieces and nephews that all loved him dearly. 

He was proceeded in death by his Mother, Grandparents, Michael and Mary (Majernik )Plichta and George and Mary (Glenco)Treschak and his best friend, Daniel (Hanner) Barickman.

Mark lived in Streator his entire life up to three years ago when he moved to Florida.  He graduated from St. Stephens Grade School and Streator Township High School.  He was Self-Employed as a Flooring Contractor and owned his own business his entire career.  He was a very hard working, kind hearted individual who would do anything for anyone.  He loved being with family, sitting on the beach and grilling on his Weber. Mark loved animals, especially all of his dogs that he shared his life with over the years.

A private Funeral and burial service will be held at St Michael the Archangel Church in Streator, IL.

A Celebration of Life Event will be held for Family and Friends at a later date this summer. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice of charity.
