Mark, it’s been less than a month and a half since you left this place, it seems like an eternity. The minutes are longer the hours are longer, as if time stand still. I love you with all my heart, and I always will. There is a place in my heart that will never be filled by anyone or anything else, because that was the place in my heart where you lived. You are so sadly missed.

I met Mark in Las Cruces New Mexico. He enjoyed to mostly critize my politics but we became friends. I will miss his kindness and his caring for what right in all that was around him. I enjoyed his company at our superbowl parties. Mark thank you for being my friend. I will miss you, dearly.

I don’t know who (if anyone) will receive this message, but Mark crossed my mind today so I thought I would try to look him up. I found this obituary and I’m crushed. I worked very closely with Mark during his entire tenure at Miller Pipeline. He was the Risk Manager and I was the Safety Manager, so we worked together daily and were very close friends. I absolutely LOVED Mark like a brother. He and I shared so many laughs over the years. He had the best sense of humor and his laugh made me laugh (regardless how funny the comment was). I miss him dearly and am sorry to see that he is no longer with us.
