Mary Virginia “Ginny” Faulkner

June 18, 1950 - June 8, 2020

Mary Virginia “Ginny” Faulkner, 69, a resident of Fort Myers, FL since 1999, formerly of TN, passed away Monday, June 8, 2020 in Fort Myers. She was born June 18, 1950 in Memphis, TN to Carl Pride Stallings (deceased) & Sarah Ross (Stallings) Duncan.

After graduating from Olive Branch High School, in Olive Branch, MS, she attended Northwest Mississippi Junior College in Senatobia, MS.  After college, Ginny had a successful career from Memphis, TN to Nashville, & Dickson, TN.  After retiring to Fort Myers, FL in 1999, she became actively involved in their community. Ginny was the 1st President of the Legends Ladies Golf League, & lovingly known by her friends as “Mrs. Legends” – was always willing to help with tournaments, parties, fund raisers, etc. Forever the “Belle of the Ball” everywhere she was.

Ginny loved life & shared her love & life with those around her. She loved her family & close friends fiercely. Her infectious smile, hugs, kindness & southern accent endeared her to all that knew her. She left her mark on many a heart & will be sorely missed.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 32 years, K. Don Faulkner of Fort Myers; mother, Sarah Ross Duncan of Fort Myers; three loving step-children, Don Faulkner of Fort Myers, David Faulkner of TN, & Danny O’Neal (Connie) of TN; three siblings, Hank Stallings (Ron Johnson) of Fort Myers, Frank Stallings (Alicia) of KY, & Beth Clements (Robert) of MI; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, 3 nieces.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Monday, June 29, 2020 from 3pm-5PM in the Clubhouse at Legends Golf and Country Club, Fort Myers 33912.

Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Fort Myers, is entrusted with final care.

    Dear K Don and Don, Bobby and I extend our sincere sympathy. Even though we have lost our Southern Belle., we will always have many fond memories of this special lady. Now she is an angel watching over all of us.
