Michael Edwin Berlien
Michael Edwin Berlien, 67, a resident of North Fort Myers, FL since 1994, formerly of Fort Walton Beach, FL, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 in Cape Coral, FL. He was born June 19, 1953 in Hibbing, MN.
Michael was of the Christian faith and a loving father, and devoted husband. He served our country with honor and pride for 20 years as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in the United States Air Force. His duties took him and his family to many different places and plenty of adventures. He retired to North Fort Myers. He enjoyed working on anything with an engine. He also enjoyed spending time with his dog Zoe and riding his riding lawn mower. He was dedicated to hard work and always stayed busy.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Melody Berlien of North Fort Myers; loving father, Cecil Berlien of North Fort Myers; two loving daughters, Gail Thurman (Ernest) of Sparta, TN, Jane Duncan (Edgar) of Fredericksburg, VA, and a loving stepdaughter, Amanda Ennis (Joshua) of Whitesburg, TN; four siblings, Victoria Fields (Jerry) of MO, Margaret Barrett (Richard) of AZ, Betty Bongaarts (Jim) of MN, and Patrick Berlien of MD; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services with Military Honors will be held 1:00PM on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at the American Legion, Post 336, 5770 Bayshore Road, N. Ft. Myers, FL 33917
