Michael Jules Levy

September 19, 1937 - August 17, 2021

Michael Jules Levy, 83, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for the past 19 years, formerly of Hillsdale, NJ, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021 in Cape Coral. He was born September 19, 1937 in NY, NY to Seymore and Sylvia Levy, now deceased.

Michael was a bright and talented man having attended the High School of Music and Art in Manhattan, the Manhattan School of Music (both for piano), and then NYU. Michael was shrewd businessman and operations master—serving in multiple executive positions throughout his career.

He lived a colorful life. Michael explored every nook and cranny of this country. Visited far off lands. Served in the NY National Guard and the NJ Little League. He was an accomplished pianist and avid cyclist. He knew how to live it up. He made so many people laugh and smile. He had a firm handshake and a warm, loving hug. He was a force—a larger than life personality.

He is survived by four loving children, Steven London of Austin, TX, Darren Levy of Westbrook, CT, Jason Levy and his wife Erin Levy of Pearl River, NY, and Dorian Tave of Montclair, NJ; sister, Roz Drazul of Southbury, CT; as well as four grandchildren, Emma, Maya, Mason and Jeffrey.

My sweet Mike, my heart is broken today. Always a smile, hug, kiss and endless great advice. The precious time I spent with you just chatting, drinking or golfing will be forever in my heart. You guided me through some difficult times and you were one of the most genuine person I has the pleasure of knowing. Hoping you are playing the piano for Sharon and getting in a few holes with Bill. I love you buddy but I have our great memories forever.
