Nancy C. Walker

Nancy Carolyn Walker, 81, a recent resident of North Fort Myers, FL, formerly Enfield, IL., where she lived for the past 40 years, passed away on the evening of Tuesday, May 8, 2018. She was born April 7, 1937 in Aurora, Illinois to Earl and Evelyn Schusler, now deceased.

Nancy and Cloyd Walker married December 8, 1952 at the Methodist parsonage in Carmi, IL. Nancy was a devoted military wife. She worked in the factory for years then became a homemaker. She had a true passion and loved to collect antiques. She enjoyed helping Cloyd cook for the Enfield Lions Club to help raise money for the town. She was very proud of her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

She is survived by three loving children, Cheri Walker (Tony) of North Fort Myers, FL, Cloyd Walker (Robin) of OK and Paul Walker of Fort Myers, FL; sister, Jeanine Smith (Glen) of Yorkville, IL; two nephews, Mark Smith and Chris Smith; a niece, Julie Gette; four grandchildren, Justin Dodd (Briana), Cody Dodd (Ashley), Jake and Daniel; as well as two great grandchildren, Kelsey and Gunner Cloyd Dodd.

Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Cloyd Walker, in 2015; infant daughter, Cynthia, as well as a brother, Paul Schusler.

Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Enfield United Methodist Church, 304 Church St., Enfield, IL 62835 with J.B. Gates officiating.
