Nancy Sandilands Fisher

February 12, 1948 - June 27, 2020

Nancy Sandilands Fisher, 72, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 2004, formerly of Collegeville, PA, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020 in Cape Coral. She was born February 12, 1948 in Cumberland, MD to Thomas and Elizabeth Gulland, now deceased.

“Sandi” spent much of her life in Pennsylvania and moved to Florida in 2004.  She was a member of the Providence Church of Brethren in Royersford, PA. Sandi graduated from the program at Lankenau Hospital to become a Radiology Technician.  She had various positions over the years in physician’s offices, but remained committed to women’s health and performing mammograms. Throughout her life, Sandi enjoyed sewing, embroidery, creating jewelry and other special projects. Sandi’s attention to detail and skill made her projects beloved treasures for her friends and family. Sandi was very interested in learning more about her family heritage and genealogy.

Sandy will be best remembered for her love and commitment to family and friends and her love of all animals, especially her dogs.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years, Ken Fisher of Cape Coral; two loving step-children, Lori Vidal (Carlos) of Hanover, PA, and Steven Fisher (Stacey), also of Hanover, PA: sister, Elizabeth Schubert (Patrick) of Palm Coast, FL; five step- grandchildren, Enrique, Javier, Bryceton, Jocelyn, and Landon; as well as two nieces, Katherine and Jennifer and their children, Thomas, Joseph and Jack.

Private family services will be held in the future.
