We are very sorry to hear about your mom. Our deepest condolences to your family at what we know is a very difficult time. I had many fond memories of Nilda; she was a big part of my teenage years when I came over to visit Michele. I remember her always giving useful advice, surprising me with a gift on Three Kings Day, going to the mall when Michele and I were teenagers, etc..
I always admired your mother’s caring and selfless nature.
Thinking of you and wishing you moments of peace and comfort.
    Our deepest sympathy.
    xoxo

    Grandma,

Although it has been quite some time since we’ve last spoken, it seems- and feels- that not so long ago you were coming up for yet another birthday, dance recital, or school performance. Those childhood memories will forever be so important to me. I miss those days, and I miss you. I love you, and hope you’re resting peacefully up there.

    Dearest Nilda,
You were a wonderfully caring sister to Hiram, and sister-in-law to me, and a most loving aunt to our children, Laura and Danny. The words, La Familia, truly had special meaning for you as exemplified by the caring love you gave to your large extended family, and dear friends. We send our deepest sympathy to your beloved children, brothers and sisters, and their spouses.
God bless you and your dear Jimmy, with whom you finally can be reunited again, in peace.
    Con mucho amor siempre,
    Hiram and Sara Velez

I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of Nilda. I remember bringing my daughter Jenna over her house when she played with Stephanie. A memory I have if her is that she made a beautiful pink Ariel dress on Halloween for her granddaughter Stephanie. My condolences to her family. She will be missed.
