Norma Jean McGruther

December 28, 1940 - February 28, 2022

Norma Jean McGruther, 81, of Ft. Myers Shores for three years, formerly of N. Florida and Odessa, TX, passed away Monday, February 28, 2022 Cape Coral.  She was born December 28, 1940 in Rochelle, IL to Albert and Belva Bergeson, now deceased. 

Norma will be remembered as a loving wife, mother & grandmother to everyone. She enjoyed spending time with family, bingo night, exploring new restaurants and traveling to new places.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Jim McGruther of Ft. Myers; six children, Vicky Drawdy of Ft. Myers, Dan Jennings (Teresa) of Belmont, NC, Loretta Russo (Robert) of Melbourne, FL, Raymon Zapata (Brenda) of Huntsville, AL, Ronnie McGruther (Angel) of TX and William McGruther (Suzanne) of Lowell, NC; 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren as well as one great-great grandchild. 

Private Family Services will be held.

Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Fort Myers, is entrusted with final care.
