Norma Valentina Guerra Acosta

February 14, 1962 - July 7, 2020

Norma Valentina Guerra Acosta, 58, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020 in Cape Coral while visiting from Panama City, FL. She was born February 14, 1962 in Havana, Cuba to Heriberto and Mirtha Segura, now deceased.

Norma was an amazing mother. She sacrificed so much for her children. Norma was a mother to all, often times including her children’s friends as her own. She lived her life for her children and gave them all that she could and taught them everything in this life they needed to succeed. She never knew how to be selfish always putting her children before her own needs or wants, and once her children had kids of their own, she was equally or even more selfless with her grandchildren. She would drop anything to run to her grandkids side. Often times not even being of the health to be able to do so but that never ever stopped her. She lived and breathed for them and that is why this is a great loss to our family. There will never be another like our Mother.

She is survived by five loving children, John Guerra of Celebration, FL, Pamela Guerra of Miami, FL, Marisol Amor of Cape Coral, Peter Amor of Cape Coral, and Abigail Guerra, also of Cape Coral; two siblings, Martha Acosta of Houston, TX, and Alberto Guerra of Cuba; as well as 13 grandchildren who are everything to her.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM Friday, July 10, 2020 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33916. Per CDC COVID-19 guidelines, Mullins Memorial suggests that all participants wear a mask. We remind everyone to maintain Social Distancing while in our facilities.

Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.
