Paul “David” Cottrell

Paul “David” Cottrell, 53, of Marco Island, formerly of Cape Coral, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014 in Naples. He was born December 19, 1960 in Ft. Myers.

David was of the Christian faith and attended the Family Church of Marco. He enjoyed his men’s bible studies that were held weekly at his home. Some of the most precious memories and growing in his Faith were during those studies. Music, Fishing and Cooking were among the top three passions in his life except for family.

He is survived beloved wife of 33 years, Donna Jo Cottrell of Marco Island; his mother, Dorothy Evrard of Estero; two children, Paul Joseph Cottrell (Sabrina) of Ft. Myers and Cayla Schoep (Keith) of Marco Island; one sister, Gayle Horton (Curtis) of Estero; two brothers, Tim Cottrell (Evelyn) of Cape Coral and Andrew Cottrell of Estero; one half-sister, Paula Lowther of Alaska; two grandchildren, Gracelyn Cottrell and Josiah Schoep; his dogs, Furgie and Belle, as well as one grandchild on the way.

Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.

Memorial Services will be held 3:00 pm, Sunday April 27th, 2014 at New Life Community Church, 590 W Elkcam, Marco Island, FL 34145 with Jim Moyer officiating.
