Ralph Joseph Gibala

March 15, 1956 - April 28, 2022

Ralph Joseph Gibala, 66, a resident of Cape Coral for the past five years, formerly of Sutersville, PA passed away Thursday April 28, 2022 in Cape Coral.  He was born March 15, 1956 in McKeesport, PA to Theodore and Bernice Gibala, now deceased. 

Ralph was of the Catholic faith.  He retired from Bechtel Bettis of Dravosburg PA where he was employed for 30 years. Ralph loved boating, fishing and the Steelers.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Judy Gibala of Cape Coral; three children, Michael Gibala (Jennifer) of Brandywine, MD, Daniel Gibala (Meghan) of Rostraver Twp, PA and Nicholas Gibala  (Lorin) of Lakewood Ranch, FL; two brothers, Ricky Gibala of Reston, VA and Robert Gibala (Linda) of McKeesport, PA; three grandchildren, Roman, Ruby and Everett; three nieces, Suzie, Amy and Elizabeth; one nephew, Kevin as well as the dogs, Molly and Teddi. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. 

No services will be held in Florida.

Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.

    I wonder how many rules me and him broke in the 30 years e worked together?

    I retired from Bettis with 43 years service. During that time Ralph was always a most helpful person, no matter how involved my request was ! RIP

    So sorry to hear this. I remember Ralph from work. We worked in the same department for a short time. Ralph was a super nice guy. My condolences to the family. May he rest in peace.

    Truly sorry to receive this news. Ralph and I worked together for 17 years. He was a very good person and we’ll respected. My condolences go out to his family.

    I just learned that my old pal Ralph passed away. We first met in kindergarten on Versailles Ave in McKeesport and became such good friends. What great times we had during our high school years! You and Judy were great together. Good bye old friend.
