Randy Charles Alexander
Randy Charles Alexander, 67, a resident of Fort Myers, FL since 2007, formerly of Lake City, Iowa, passed away Monday, December 30, 2019 in Fort Myers, FL surrounded by his family. He was born July 13, 1952 in Cabool, MO to Leonard and Betty (Ferrar) Alexander.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Kathy (Hart) Alexander of Fort Myers; two loving daughters, April Alexander and her fiancé, Seneca Jenkins of Fort Myers, and Amber Alexander, also of Fort Myers; two grandchildren, Madisyn Alexander & Isaac Alexander; sister, Donna Wolf (Don) of Farnhamville, IA, sister in law, Diana Alexander of Bellevue, NE, brother in law, Eddy Mitchell of Ottumwa, IA, brother in law, Alan Hart (Bonita) of Springfield, MO; as well as numerous nieces and nephews & many friends.
Randy was a member of First Assembly of God Church. Randy was always known for being a hard worker and always willing to step up and be a help to anyone. His sense of humor and presence could light up a room. He was so proud of his family & loved spending time with his wife, two daughters and two grandchildren. He loved staying busy whether at work where he was employed by Ft. Myers Beach Water Dept. or working at home in the yard & puttering in the garage. He had a love for his family dogs; Max & Charlie.
Randy was preceded in death by four siblings, Gary Alexander, Mike Alexander, Greg Alexander, and Sue Mitchell; his parents, Leonard & Betty Alexander, as well as his in laws, Ben and Velma (Bartlett) Hart.
Memorial Services will be held 5:30 PM Friday, January 3, 2020 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33916 with Pastor Jonathon Block officiating.
Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Fort Myers, is entrusted with final care.

Heaven has gained a great man. Randy was so influential in my early years with Christ. He was also apart of my church family at Jefferson Gospel Open Bible Church that prepared me for God’s calling on my life. Sending prayers and love for Kathy and the girls…
There are no words to make this easier, how I wish there were and I could take all the pain away for you and your family. Just know he will never be far away because you will carry him in your heart and in your memories forever. We learn to adapt so it hurts less but that takes time. He will always be there for you, when you miss him or need him just think of him and he’ll be there! ❤️

I am very sorry to hear about Randy. I did not work with him directly however every time he was in the office he was always very pleasant and no matter what he had a smile on his face at all times. He will be missed. Again, very sorry for your loss,

Randy was one of the genuinely nice, good person anyone could ever had the pleasure of meeting. You seldom meet anyone like him. I’ll never forget his attitude, gentle nature and kindness.
He will be REALLY missed. He was one in a million. I am so happy to have known him and he will be thought of often! His legacy will live on thru family and friends. He is truly one of a kind. ❤️

I am saddened to hear that another classmate has passed on. We are celebrating our 50th High School Class reunion in June, 2022. Randy Alexander will be missed. RIP my friend.
