Margie and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Rick hired Greg and they still kept in touch after his retirement from GE. We visited them once at their home in Florida. Prayers to you all. We know you all will miss him. ❤️

Rick was a very special friend and neighbor to us. He helped me so much when Ken my husband was in hospital having his leg amputated. Food, cards, gas money, gift bag for me as I travelled back and forth. Rick would always stop at my house, come into garage, sit and chat, or in the street. He was always concerned, or a laugh or two, tell me about his son Ricky and the girls. He was so proud of his children. His love for Margie was so obvious to all. Rick loved and cared without any reservation, a genuine, righteous, faithful man. Nothing will ever be the same in our little neighborhood community of friends now with Rick gone. But we’ll all take great care of Margie when she’s here in Florida. We love the Puthoff family dearly and our deepest sympathy goes out to all of them. Much love and prayers for their peace and comfort. Rest in God’s eternal peace, Rick. – Lynne and Ken Perkins

Condolences to the Puthoff Family. May God Bless Rick as he moves on to another place. As a fellow Cavalier (63) and Veteran, I can vaguely remember Rick back in the day as a low key kind of guy. When I read about his tour of duty I was totally amazed his service and awards. Many of us were called to arms back then and certainly Rick did his job for God and Country. I was hoping to catch up to him in Florida as we spend our winters there. Now I will just have to wait for another time.
    God Bless you all.

It is a sad loss for all of Rick’s Canadian friends. David and Sherry will miss him and his drop ins to visit while we stayed in Florida for the winter. We can’t imagine not having those visits. His memory will be with us forever. Our special wishes to Margie and family during this time.
A well-loved man by many friends and relatives.
    Bless you all!
