Robert “Bob” Allen Saylor

Robert “Bob” Allen Saylor, 70, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for the past 40 years, formerly of KY, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020 in Cape Coral. He was born March 27, 1950 in Crittenden, KY to John and Gertrude Saylor, now deceased.

Bob was of the Christian faith. Robert Saylor travelled the world. Robert Saylor was a successful real estate agent in Lexington, KY, “Rector Hayden”. In Florida, Robert “Bob” Saylor was one of the best general contractors of Southwest Florida, famously known for his mottos, “No Job Too Big or Small” and “Getting it Right the First Time!”.  His unique house and his dock, that he built, was always open for friends and everybody. His attitude toward people is, “They’re good until they prove otherwise”.  Bob lived the Florida lifestyle at full tilt in Cape Coral.  

He is survived by his beloved wife, Elena Saylor of Cape Coral; as well as a son, Robert Alexander Saylor of Cape Coral.

Robert was preceded in death by three siblings, Betty Jean Webster, Roger Saylor, and Thomas Saylor.

Memorial services will be held at the Saylor’s home in the near future.

    My second Brother from day one on the job with Bob , we quickly teamed up in Real Estate and stayed busy , 1979 Bob got the urge and actually moved south and I have visiting for decades , Bob just had a way that drew people in , a great ,kind and generous man , I’m going to miss him
