Robert “Bob” T. Rossman
Robert “Bob” Thomas Rossman, 59, a lifelong Lee County, Florida resident, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 in Fort Myers, FL. He was born April 19, 1959 in New York, NY to Herbert and Virginia Rossman, now deceased.
Bob was a member of Good Shepard Lutheran Church in North Fort Myers and was a veteran of The United States Army. He was a licensed Waste Water Operator and a small business owner. He was always willing to help people no matter what. He loved his family and he loved restoring things, especially his Ford F250 truck, “Big Red”. He was an avid Miami Dolphins fan and coached Pop Warner Football for 10 years. He enjoyed watching his grandson, Brayden (Boo Boo) play Little League Baseball. He was an important part of his family and will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Donna Rossman of North Fort Myers, FL; loving daughter, Kristine Rossman (fiancé, Andrew) and her son, Brayden (Boo Boo) of Cape Coral, FL; two siblings, Steven Rossman of MN and Debbie Formica (John) of Fort Myers, FL; several nieces and nephews; as well as Jixer the cat.
Bob was preceded in death by a son, Robert Christopher Rossman in 2012; as well as a brother, William “Billy” Rossman.
Memorial Services with Military Honors will be held at 2:30 PM on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL 34241.
