Robert C. Perry
Robert C. Perry, age 71, of Erie, PA passed away Monday February 8th, 2021 at Gulf Coast Hospital in Fort Myers, FL with his beloved wife of 49 years Nancy (Mague) at his side after a long battle with COVID.
He was born in Kane, PA on August 5, 1949. Son of the late James Perry and Dominica (Bifano) Perry. Where he graduated from Kane Area High School. He worked at General Electric for 37 years as a Welder/ Quality Control Inspector. He was a member at St. Patrick’s Church in Erie, PA.
Since retiring, he and Nancy spent their winters in North Fort Myers, FL where they were always surrounded by friends. He spent his free time doing what he loved the most, motorcycle rides, camping in his RV and traveling with his wife. His most precious time was spent with his grandchildren, watching them participate in their sports and activities, he never wanted to miss anything.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, JoAnn Viglione, brother, James Perry, brother in law, Eugene Orcutt, brother in law, Donald Olson, brother in law, Luke Viglione and father in law, Robert Mague.
He is survived by his son, Robert Perry of Erie, PA and daughter, Jaime (Perry) Schmitt of Valencia, PA; daughter in law, Elissa (Caschera) Perry and son in law, Bradley Schmitt; he is the cherished grandfather of Robert and Isabella Perry of Erie, and Taylor, Braden and Landen Schmitt of Valencia; beloved son in law of Helen Mague of Kane, PA; dear brother of Francis Olson, Marilyn Orcutt, and Kathy McGowan as well as Kathy’s husband, Robert. Loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID, there will be no Service or visitation. Burial will be private.
