Robert D Angel

Robert D. Angel, 78, a N. Ft. Myers, FL resident since 1987, formerly of Miami, FL was called home to the Lord on Wednesday, August 9, 2017. He was born in Miami, FL on July 11, 1939 to the late Aubrey and LoEmma Angel.

Bob was a member of First Christian Church, Cape Coral and a United States Air Force Veteran. He was stationed in Japan in 1957 and had many good memories of his time there. Bob was a loving husband and great father with a wonderful sense of humor. He was very proud of his three children and their successes in life.

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Patricia Angel of N. Ft. Myers, FL; three children, James Angel (Christina) of Pembrook Pines, FL, John Angel (Jennifer) of St. Augustine, FL and Sherry Hipple (Daniel) of Riverview, FL; one brother, James B. Angel (Linda) of Birmingham, AL; seven grandchildren; as well as one great grandchild.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated 10:00 AM Thursday, August 17, 2017 at First Christian Church, 2620 Country Club Boulevard, Cape Coral, FL 33904. A burial will follow at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 17, 2017 the Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL 34241 with Military Honors being presented.
