Robert Fox, Sr.

January 25, 1936 - December 3, 2020

Robert Fox, Sr., 84, a resident of Cape Coral, Florida for more than 40 years, formerly of Long Island, New York, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 3, 2020 in Cape Coral. He was born January 25, 1936 in Jamaica, New York to Charles and Marie Fox, now deceased.

Robert was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving as a hospital medic. He attended Amityville Memorial High School and earned his diploma while in the Army.  Robert enjoyed numerous hobbies during his life: golfing, boating, hunting, skiing, motorcycling, woodworking and traveling.  He was a successful businessman, owning two bars in Massapequa, NY: The Carriage House and Fox’s

He is survived by his loving wife, Lucy Ann and four devoted children, Caron Gorman (Keith) of Cape Coral, Charles Fox (Rose) of Cape Coral, Robert Fox, Jr. of Port Charlotte, and Ken Fox (Diane) of Cape Coral; sisters, Betsy Wagoner of Pennsylvania, and Jane Lincoln of New Hampshire; ten grandchildren, as well as eight great grandchildren.

Robert was preceded in death by a son, Steven Fox; as well as two siblings, Barry Fox and Mary Alice Serdock.

A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, FL 33904 with Father Ananda officiating.

Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.

    God Bless my big brother. Robert was my childhood hero, my teacher, my friend. It is so sad that we are unable to travel during this time of isolation and sickness. Till we meet again.

    Robert was a dear cousin and good friend. He was always happy and so nice to me growing up. I will always have fond memories of him to hold in my heart. My condolences to your family.

    So sorry to hear about your father, my cousin Robert.I have so many wonderful memories of our families getting together and traveling to Rocky Point. I am very sorry for your loss. May he Rest In Peace. Prayers to the Fox family.
