I will always remember Roddy’s kindness and knowledge. He was a great friend to our family and helped us with many needs great and small. He made the life of my family richer. I got to enjoy many times on his boat in Sanibel and watched in wonder as he remodeled his home, then another, biked, windsurfed and paddled boarded. Wendy, you and your family will be in my prayers.

Thank you for sharing Roddy with us.

When we first moved to Sanibel we would see this guy going fishing on his paddle board early in the morning. Then we would see him blazing by us on his road bike later in the day. Roddy had more fun by noon than most people have in a week. He graciously and skillfully helped us with carpentry work in our kitchen. We were lucky enough to share a few beers with Roddy and Wendy. We wish we had shared more.

    Dear Wendy,
Kathy and I were very saddened to hear of Roddy’s passing. I remember his great sense of humor, laugh and admired his ability to build or remodel anything. And I recall visiting you both when you lived near Como, Roddy asked if I wanted some candy and he showed me his carton of candy bars! Our deepest sympathy to you and your family.
    Best Regards,
    Bruce and Kathy Winslow

One of their trips that I remember is when they hiked in Copper Canyon, Mexico. Roddy Was an inspiration to those who knew him. We are so sorry to hear of his passing.
