He was a member of the American Legion as well. He was a man of many trades throughout his life, from working at the steel Mills in Indiana to driving a truck delivering furniture, he always tried his best to help where he could. He was devoted to God and trusted in him. He loved listening to music like rock and roll and country. His favorites were ballads from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s, as well as religious hymns. He liked bowling, and football, having played on his high school football team. He also enjoyed watching trivia games and would often quiz people with things he’d learn from them.
