I think if you looked up carefree in the dictionary you might see Rons smiling face! We will forever speak of Ron with smiles on our own faces. What a character and fun guy to have as a neighbor and to call a friend. Its Rons love of life that makes his passing tough, but at least we know he left quite a mark on this earth! Continued prayers for Tammy, Allie and Ashley.

It’s really hard putting into words how a friend you’ve shared a zillion smiles with can be condensed into a few sentences when they are no longer with us. Wouldn’t trade a day hanging out with Nod for all the tea in the world. We worked together building pools for 4 years…… we lived together on Church Road for three years, we shared a thousand meals together, we went to a hundred rock concerts together, and shared the “best of our 20’s” learning about life together….scared the shit out of Nod every time he climbed on the back of my Kawasaki…..but our finest caper, was when we went to Mexico in 1987. We went cave diving in the mornings, went exploring Mayan ruins every afternoon, and went on night dives out in the ocean at night.. No one can ever take away how cool that journey was for both of us !!! Nod met the ‘girl of his dreams’ and didn’t I see a whole lot of him after that, but that’s the way of the world isn’t it ??? Still Tammy…..I know he loved you to the moon and back,….. and that’s the best any of us can ask for !!! . Just know that you meant the world to my friend that you stole from me Tammy !!!….Ha Ha…..and I wouldn’t want it any other way !!! That’s how it’s supposed to work. Just happy for the time we had together, as I’m certain you are too. Stay cool Tammy… We’ll all be together soon enough forever. Love you !!!

Having just met you, I really didn’t know him except for the wonderful stories of how much love and fun the two of you shared! Know the us “Island girls” are here for anything you may need going forward and may just drag you out for things you don”t even need! God bless you girlie!

I heard a song from the Supergroup of the 80’s, Asia, and thought of Ron. So sorry to hear of his passing. I worked with him on the CDF project at Fermilab in the mid 80’s. We had a blast and always listened to rock and roll. RIP Ron. My condolences to his family. Sorry this is a couple of years old but I now live in New Mexico, since 1993.
