Rose Elizabeth Mastrangelo

November 14, 1966 - September 7, 2022

Rose Elizabeth Mastrangelo, 55, a resident of Fort Myers, FL since 2016, formerly of Hancock, WI, and Melbourne, FL, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022 in Fort Myers. She was born November 14, 1966 in Chicago, IL to Robert and Joan Lucas, now deceased.

Rose was of the Christian faith and attended Calvary Chapel in Melbourne. She will always be remembered as a selfless person who did everything in her power to help others and make them smile. She enjoyed many things throughout her life; Harry Potter, coffee, giraffes, the Minnesota Vikings, riding scooters in Key West, shopping, and getting her nails done with family & friends are just a handful of the things that made her happy.

However, above all, she cherished her time with her family the most. She loved to spend the holidays with her family, with Thanksgiving being her favorite among them all. She had fond memories of shopping at Goodwill with her Mom and Aunt Dorothy. Rose was also an avid

bingo player, which is yet another thing she enjoyed doing with her family and friends.

She was always her children’s biggest fan, supporting them in everything they did.

Rose will forever be loved and missed by many who will always remember her smile and the sound of her voice singing “American Soldier.” May she rest in peace.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 26 years, Mark Mastrangelo of Fort Myers; three loving children, Thomas Westphal (Christina Ford) of Melbourne, Danielle Mastrangelo of Fort Myers, and Vincent Mastrangelo of Melbourne; as well as a granddaughter, Lilly Caissie.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Details to be announced via www.MullinsMemorial.com

Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.

    Rose, Rose, Rose,
Even though we didn’t spend too much time together and weren’t as close as we could of been, we are family and I love you no matter what. I’m so sad you are gone. My heart breaks for you and your family.. If you could, you would feed and take in as many people as you can without flinching an eye. I give you a lot of credit for that. You will be missed. You are with ur mom and dad now! And your Aunt! See you next time.
    You’re sister-in-law,
    Joanne

    Aunt Rose,

It’s so heart breaking that you’re gone. I still can’t believe it. We always had many laughs when we got together. I remember the last time I saw you, you set me up with a big platter of food to bring home with me for the week. You’re now with your Momma and Aunt. You will never be forgotten.

    Love you,
    Your niece Erica
